MataRakyat24.com — Himpunan Mahasiswa Islam (HMI) Cabang Dharmasraya mengadakan diskusi dan nonton bareng (nobar) film Lafran Pane—pendiri HMI—di Toko Coffee Munir, Jalan Lintas Sumatera, Nagari Sikabau, Kabupaten Dharmasraya, pada Rabu (6/2/2025).
Kegiatan ini dihadiri oleh Ketua Umum HMI Cabang Dharmasraya, Nanda Arfalia Putra, Sekretaris Umum Abdul Hafis, Bendahara Umum Rita Putri, Ketua Umum Kohati Meysi, Sekretaris Umum Kohati Rina, fungsionaris Kohati Cabang Ayumi, serta Sekretaris Presidium MD KAHMI Dharmasraya, Rifdal Fadli, M.H. Turut hadir pula pengurus komisariat dan kader HMI se-Cabang Dharmasraya.
Dalam sambutannya, Ketua Umum HMI Cabang Dharmasraya mengucapkan terima kasih kepada seluruh alumni dan kader yang hadir dalam peringatan Milad HMI ke-78.
“HMI adalah rumah dan tempat belajar bagi kita semua sebagai kader. Saya berharap seluruh kader terus aktif dalam proses perkaderan tingkat lanjut, sehingga lahir kader-kader terbaik yang berdampak bagi umat dan bangsa,” ujarnya.
Sekretaris Presidium MD KAHMI Dharmasraya, Rifdal Fadli, M.H., juga menyampaikan apresiasi atas terselenggaranya kegiatan ini.
“Kami berharap HMI Dharmasraya terus berkembang seiring bertambahnya usia organisasi. Kepengurusan cabang diharapkan terus melahirkan ide dan gagasan yang bermanfaat bagi masyarakat, sesuai dengan nilai-nilai HMI. Kami, sebagai alumni, akan selalu mendukung kegiatan positif yang dilakukan Himpunan,” ungkapnya.
Sementara itu, Irsyad, salah satu alumni HMI, berpesan agar kader terus meningkatkan kualitas perkaderan dengan memperbanyak pelatihan dan pembinaan.
“HMI adalah organisasi kaderisasi. Manfaatkan waktu di HMI untuk belajar dan berkembang. Jangan sampai pola pikir kader HMI sama seperti siswa sekolah,” pesannya.
Ia menegaskan bahwa HMI adalah wadah belajar dan berproses bagi mahasiswa. Setelah menyelesaikan kuliah, kader diharapkan siap menghadapi dunia nyata sesuai bidang masing-masing. (***)
